We were scheduled to strip the 2' of surcharge material from the building pad today, but could not due to heavy rains. After waiting a month, we are now able to remove the extra material placed on the building pad designed to speed up any settling under the building that may take place.
We received almost an inch of rain just as we started working. The long down pour will unfortunately delay the work for a couple of days, since the muddy conditions will not allow dump trucks on site to haul the material to other areas on site.
